Adesh Kaur
Adesh has been practicing various healing arts for over 12 years and teaching yoga for over 10 years. She is a certified Kundalini and Hatha/Vinyasa yoga teacher, Reiki Master/Teacher, Flower Essence Practitioner, Harmonyum® practitioner, creator of the Upaya Method®, founder of the Upaya Arts Yoga & Meditation Center, and co-owner of Mystic Water. In the past 4 years she has developed and trademarked a brand of yoga called Kundinyasa Yoga which is a fusion of Kundalini and Hatha/Vinyasa styles. The first Yoga Alliance recognized Kundinyasa Yoga Teacher Training began this past spring of 2011. The next Kundinyasa training is to start in March of 2012. Since opening the kava bar, with the help of her fiancee and brother, she has seen the amazing complimentary natures of kava and yoga and has been offering Kava yoga classes at Mystic Water which are geared toward the deeper philosophy of yoga as well as taking time for deep stretching and meditation. Adesh began the journey toward a spiritual path after a near fatal car accident when she was 20. A few years later she came down with Lymes Disease and used Kundalini yoga practices, flower essences, and Reiki to heal herself and many others along the way. Very often the biggest challenges of our lives are the greatest gifts to the evolution of our soul. Her number one goal is to help people find health and happiness in a co-creative way. She is gifted at giving guidance and support, and feels blessed to have so many amazing tools to help each individual realistically achieve their goals.

Leah
Leah has been practicing yoga for over 6 years. Leah spent many years training in the martial arts form of Wado Kai and achieved her brown belt. Sharyn
Sharyn feels immense gratitude for the purifying, life-enhancing alchemy of yoga. While completing her bachelor of arts in Religious Studies with an emphasis in Eastern Philosophy, Sharyn began a meditation practice and was introduced to yoga. Her body had become severely out of balance and, as she deepened her practice, she began to heal herself physically and spiritually. Through dedicated study and devoted practice of many aspects of yoga—breath, mantra, meditation, ethics, in addition to asana—she tapped into her authentic nature and discovered her true self. Yoga moved from her head into her heart. Sharyn incorporates the principles of yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda, and the philosophy of Patanjali’s Eight Limbs into her asana classes. Creating a supportive, compassionate environment in the studio, she offers fun, challenging, organic sequences that build strength and prepare the body to move into the stillness of meditation. Students are gently guided to develop body awareness by sourcing all movement in breath. Sharyn completed her teacher training with Laura Plumb and Bhava Ram of Deep Yoga and continues her studies with them, and other devoted teachers from various yogic traditions. She is also a Holistic Health Practitioner, specializing in therapeutic massage. Her intention is that through yoga, we will remember to honor the Earth, the Elements, and all living creatures. She believes that joining with our brothers and sisters around the globe to unite our bodies, minds and spirits in yoga will create an empowered world community dedicated to spreading joy, love, and peace!

Will
Will, RYT 200, has been practicing yoga for 10 years. His interest in human cultures, spirituality, and philosophy led him to gain a BA in Anthropology from LSU. He includes yogic philosophy in his classes with the intention of supporting others to realize their true path and purpose by living in authenticity and contentment. Will encourages all to simply show up. By doing this, one is able to begin cultivating a yogic practice, while deepening a sense of life purpose. Yoga brings an awareness to the union between mind, body, and spirit through the breath. And it is through this union, we all develop love and compassion for others as well as self.
