Intro to the philosophy of yoga and introduction to differnt aspects of yoga including: Yoga sutra study, deep stretching, meditation with the added bonus of a shell of kava. Kava is a ceremonial tea consumed in the South pacific Islands that has scientifically proven anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, and muscle relaxing properties. It is a sacred tea that when consumed over time brings a feeling of bliss without altering mental acuity. It is used as a means to connect with Source and with each other, promoting connectivity and community. In yoga it is a great tool as it helps to experience the deep connection with all that is, it relaxes the muscles allowing you to get further into postures, and aids with meditation by increasing ones ability to focus or concentrate while remaining relaxed.
