“There is a healing light in this world..a healing spirit much stronger than any darkness we may encounter. We sometimes lose sight of this force… when there is suffering, too much pain. And suddenly the spirit will emerge through the lives of ordinary people, and answer in extraordinary ways.” -Mother Teresa
Energy healing encompasses many different modalities. The ones offered at the center are Reiki (including all levels of instruction Level I to Master), Bio-metaphysical medicine, Flower Essence Therapy, and the Upaya Method.
The Upaya Method
The Upaya Method of Transformation® is a 40 day system designed to shift your paradigm of consciousness. It is a co-creative process where you will be receiving healing and support on a weekly basis, as well as actively participating in the transformation process by doing a personalized meditation and/or yoga series chosen for you based on your numerology, and taking flower essences sublingually every day. According to yogic philosophy it takes 40 days to shift ones consciousness, 90 days to confirm the new way of being, and 120 days to fully integrate the elevated consciousness so it becomes part of you. Each one of the modalities used in the Upaya Method are uniquely powerful, but this combination in particular works on all aspects of existence: the physical body and physical home, the spiritual, mental, emotional realms, and karma from this and past lives, truly releasing any hindrances which are keeping us from living our true potential as fully conscious integrated beings.
Flower Essence Therapy
Flower Essence Therapy Flower Essences alter the flow of consciousness and karma that create the disease state by affecting the vibration of the subtle bodies. Each flower essence has a particular vibrational message which gets imprinted into spring water by the process of solarization. Dysfunctional thought patterns and states of consciousness can be shifted through the process of resonance. The repeated exposure of the client to the positive higher state of consciousness present in the essence raises the consciousness of the individual so they can see the dysfunction and it is released effortlessly. They bring to light the areas where our personalities are out of alignment with our higher selves which have been contributing to the dis-ease state.
Energy healing technique which awakens us to experience Purusha our Divine Self. 7 sessions are recommended to clear past trauma. Harmonyum or Bio-metaphysical Medicine is a form of energy healing and works on many levels to awaken our divine consciousness. Harmonyum was brought to us by Master Kabbalist Guru Nam. To explain briefly there are 26 bones in the spine, feet, and hands. When we combine 2 and 6 we get 8, which symbolizes infinity or Prana (the life force). These are areas of the body through which we can heal the entire being, as all parts (organs, glands, bones) are represented in these areas. This is the basis for the work done with reflexology. Working on the hands a reflexologist can heal the body, the feet start to get deeper into the energetic realms, but by working with the spine, using the Harmonyum techniques, we can go to the deepest energetic realms to even release past life karma which may still be affecting our health and happiness. The work is extremely subtle if you are not sensitive to energy you may not feel a lot of sensation because it is operating beyond the physical realm. If you are looking for a more visceral experience I recommend Reiki.
Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing art rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the late 1800′s. It is a powerful form of energy healing where the practitioner channels Ki (the vital life force that flows through all living things) through the clients energy meridian system, removing any obstructions which are causing illness or discomfort. Ki has names in many cultures: Chi in China, Prana in India. This energetic nutritive substance is moved through the recipients energy meridian system with specific hand pacements over the 7 major chakras and 21 minor chakras. These chakras relate to every organ, gland, and joint in the body. Chakra simply translated means energy conducting wheel. They are how we take in and give energy. Acupuncturists use the same meridian system to adjust the flow of energy in the body to bring harmony and health to an individual.
Kava is a ceremonial tea consumed in the South pacific Islands that has scientifically proven anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, and muscle relaxing properties. It is a sacred tea that when taken over time brings a feeling of happiness and well being. It promotes mental clarity and has a mild pain relieving property as well, equivalent to taking an aspirin, that gently soothes any aches in the body.
Yoga’s aim is optimum health, keeping the body strong and flexible, as well as reducing stress, calming the mind to allow us to perceive our true nature as “Purusha” or Divine Self. Through the practice of yoga we can achieve a deeper understanding of the true nature of existence, and connect with our Infinite Self, beyond the body and the mind. Yoga after sincere practice, and over time, brings deep states of relaxation and helps us to handle the challenges of life in a more calm, balanced, and flexible way.
The practices taught will focus on developing dharana (concentration), to build your ability to move into a meditative state. Being able to hold the minds concentration for a period of time is a necessary skill, which needs to be cultivated in most people in order to actually meditate. The meditations may include all or some of the following techniques: mantra (sacred sound current to encourage meditation), dristi (to practice training the mind to focus), pranayama (breath work, can help to calm the mind and encourage deep meditation), and mudra (hand position to activate and work with different energies). There may be some asana (physical practice) before the meditation to prepare the body for sitting still, but it will be appropriate for all levels. Meditations will be anywhere from 31 to 62 minutes.
